Rock BC is the southern most city in the Greater Vancouver area.

hours of sunshine than Vancouver. Its ideal for swimming and
wind-surfing.
Several shopping malls and plazas within walking distance of one
another offer a wide variety of specialty shops, sidewalk cafes. The
Marine Drive strip, with a touch of California flavour, caters to the
summer visitors enjoying the beaches, and offers gift shops, pubs and a
myriad of specialty retail stores.
The arts have long been a
focus of community life in White Rock, drawing visitors to theatrical
performances, concerts and exhibitions. A number of parks provide White
Rock with a variety of activities. Picnic facilities, nature trails and
tennis courts all encourage outdoor pursuits.
Over the past five
years the City has completed a number of segments of a total walkway
system which includes small park areas, and completion of the
waterfront promenade several kilometres in length provides a year-round
amenity for both residents and visitors.
Along the waterfront
are many unique tourist shops, and the more adadventuresome can catch
live crab from the pier. Additional information may be obtained at the
